Scene girl, You stole my heart, But that doesn't mean You have to tear your art apart.
2.
As I stepped out the hospital, Weary and grief stricken, I stared at the foul infant in my arms. I could see the blood in its face In its hands. The life of my love had been taken by its birth. Its growing teeth gnawed at the Walls holding the sky above my head. Its wail pierced the clouds. In its eyes, hatred.

It’s not so much hate, More despair at your gaze. The colours of the night burns bright in your flesh. The tears begin to pour down the cheek of the girl With the unbrushed hair, the unbrushed teeth, The unwashed body, the unwashed heart. And as I fell in the snow, I felt her close, lying in the bed of her childhood home. Her house was pure, too white to touch muddied with the remnants of my heart abandoned by mercy. You were the moonlit night. Self-destruction came in forms, I didn’t know then, I don’t know now. I laid in my bathtub, Imagining the blood rising to the surface. But tracks laid unplaced in my arm. I thought of the pain she felt, alone in her home, of hate and distrust, and I shed a tear. Can I hold your hands, while we watch as they wither into sediment? Lost and torn to pieces by packs of wolves barely visible in the horizon, Riding through the cities like forests. My friend tells me the nurses here are useless, they don’t even remember your name. I suppose so. Let’s pretend Heaven is screaming, And hold our heads in our hands.
